Kazi
KAZI has created employment opportunities for over 4,575 artisans from Rwanda, Uganda, and Ghana, providing them with market access, training, and education to establish a sustainable enterprise, helping them earn up to 10x traditional wages, and transform them into inspirational, and respected community and business leaders, impacting over 100,000 community and 19,000 family members, empowering them to improve their lives.
KAZI stands for ethically handcrafted products using sustainable materials with quality craftsmanship and is a member of the Fair Trade Federation and implements fair trade practices across their organization. They are also one of only five companies to carry the Nest Seal of Ethical Handcraft on their Rwanda and Uganda products, ensuring that all items are ethically crafted in a home or small workshop.
